Color Color pictures with 4, 16 or 256 colors can be pasted into the Game Builder document. For best results: 1. Don't use pictures with more than 256 colors because it will take much longer for a scene to load and greatly increase the size of the document. 2. Don't use pictures with a resolution greater than 72 dpi for the same reason. 3. Be aware that color bitmaps take longer to manipulate. Therefore color games with a lot of cast members may not run as well as B&W games with the same number of cast members. 4. Color Game Builder documents can become quite large. Easily larger than a double sided diskette. A good compression utility is valuable for distributing your finished game. The color example document is almost 1 megabyte uncompressed. It contains 1 title scene picture and 4 regular scenes in 256 colors. However, it compresses nicely to around 290 kilobytes.
